Background on the issue

A recent project at the Sanatan Temple located at 16 Jean Terrace, Parsippany, NJ 07054 involves construction of 33 parking spaces for compact cars by cutting down 27 full-grown trees. This project uses the public’s money to create unneeded compact parking spots. Not only this but it also creates serious consequences to the Troy Brook, wetlands and transition areas, and most importantly, flooding on the neighboring properties. This project goes against the Temple community’s spiritual views.
